GRCE has developed through of 30 years of engineering experience based in Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of New South Wales, with 23 years of practice as Walch & Roberts Consulting Engineers. GR Consulting Engineers are experienced structural and civil engineers providing professional design services for a range of project types including single dwellings, multi-storey residential, industrial, educational, commercial and institutional buildings.

GRCE is a member firm of Consult Australia (formerly the Association of Consulting Engineers Australia), the peak industry body representing consulting companies that provide professional services to the built and natural environment.

Company director, Graeme Roberts BE Hons MIE (Aust) CPEng, is a member of Engineers Australia, the national body representing professional engineers in Australia and has Chartered Status with Engineers Australia. Chartered status certifies that you practice in a competent, independent and ethical manner and indicates that you are a leader in your field.

Graeme Roberts is registered on the National Professional Engineers Register (NPER) for both structural and civil engineering disciplines. All registered engineering practitioners observe a common Code of Ethics, undertake to accept responsibility for outcomes only within their area of competence and specifically commit to keeping up-to-date through continuing professional development to sustain their engagement in delivering engineering services. They deliver engineering outcomes that minimise adverse social, economic and environmental consequences, with due regard for the safety, health and welfare of the community.
